Kelly Costello is the Grants Manager & Programs/Communications Coordinator at the Buell Foundation. In this role, he is responsible for processing grants, ensuring data integrity, providing support to Program Officers and grantees, and managing external communications about foundation activities.

Kelly graduated from American University with a degree in Elementary Education, with a focus on mathematics. Before joining the Buell Foundation, he worked as the Director of Advocacy for the Colorado Anti-Violence Program (now named Survivors Organizing for Liberation) and Grants and Data Manager at the Gill Foundation. He is currently the Chair of PEAK Grantmaking’s Rocky Mountain chapter and is a member of Colorado Funders for Inclusiveness and Equity.

Originally from Philadelphia, Kelly moved to Denver in 2003. When he’s not working, he enjoys going on local adventures with his partner, spending time with friends’ babies and dogs, and organizing his life through spreadsheets.
